The New Balance 997R “Black/Grey” is a versatile, neutral-based colorway of the updated version of the 997. Designed by acclaimed sneaker designer Steven Smith in 1990, the New Balance 997 serves as the inspiration of this modern lifestyle design dubbed the 997R. The upper features a grey mesh toe with black suede overlays throughout the design. An oversized grey “N” logo appears on either side of the shoe. Grey pebbled leather can be found on the collar. Classic “New Balance” detailing is seen on the tongue and heel. Underfoot, a split white-and-cream midsole completes the look.
