The Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch” is yet another classic-looking colorway of the legendary shoe. Debuted way back in 1987 and designed by iconic footwear designer Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max 1 is Nike’s first-ever Air Max silhouette, and one of the greatest and most innovative shoes of all time. The “Monarch” features a white mesh base and a grey leather midfoot overlay. A black Swoosh appears on the sides, while Monarch-colored suede is seen on the mudguard. “Nike Air” branding is embroidered on the heel, and “Air Max” detailing is printed on the tongue tag. A visible Air unit appears in the heel of the white foam midsole, completing the look. Release date: Summer 2024
