The Nike KD 3 “Aunt Pearl” is a special colorway of Kevin Durant’s third signature shoe that honors his late aunt who passed away from cancer in 2000. The “Aunt Pearl” colorway theme debuted on the Nike KD 4 back in 2012 before becoming an integral part of Durant’s signature sneaker line in the years thereafter. Here, the “Aunt Pearl” theme appears on the Nike KD 3 for the first time on this November 2023 release. The shoe has a predominately pink-based appearance, with hues of Medium Soft Pink and Lotus Pink throughout its design. Details inspired by Aunt Pearl are also seen throughout the shoe, including “Aunt Pearl” and “Kay Yow” on a special logo on the heel. Release date: November 25, 2023
